Causes List

Cents for Seeds is a micro-loan project in northern Uganda. Uganda is home to some of the most fertile land in the world. However, in the years following the war, the people did not have anything to farm with - enter, Cents for Seeds. Beginning in 2010 with just 100 women, Cents for Seeds has now reached a total of 27,877 women as of December 2023, with 2,551 women graduated from 3 sub-counties. 2024 will see 1,500 new women begin their Cents for Seeds journey.
