There are thousands of inactive water points across northern Uganda, and hundreds of communities nearby living without safe access to drinkable water. Through Love Mercy’s Well Worth It program, a skilled team of local engineers perform repairs on inactive wells to restore life-changing clean water access to communities, providing training to local leaders to ensure water access is viable long term.
Because of you, hundreds of households will feel the impacts of clean water access: a life free of waterborne disease, where time is spent earning an income or attending school instead of walking hours to fetch water, and where adequate hygiene becomes a part of everyday life.
