Build a Well Gift Card

Gifting your loved ones one of our life-changing gift cards this year will have a generational impact in Uganda.
Women & children in northern Uganda walk up to 10kms to collect water. Often, when they get to the water source it isn’t even clean. Waterborne disease is common, and communities suffer the impact of an undrinkable water source daily.
This gift card will supply the funding for one well to be built in a community in northern Uganda, transforming the lives of around 1,500 people forever.Our local Ugandan engineering team drills the well and then trains community leaders on use and upkeep to ensure water access is reliable and sustainable.
The well will be marked with a plaque to show communities who funded their clean water access.
Wells are drilled in groups throughout the year. Once you’ve funded a well, our team will be in touch to explain what happens next and when you can expect a project report.

This year you are supporting Love Mercy Foundation’s projects in Uganda. You are providing an entire community with access to clean water. Women and children may walk anywhere from 5-10kms to retrieve water 3 times per day! Because of this gift, a new borehole will be drilled closer to the main point of community access, providing them with access to safe, clean drinking water. This can be anywhere from 150 – 300 households!
