Love Mercy was formed in 2010, when Australian Olympian Eloise Wellings met Ugandan Olympian and former child soldier, Julius Achon.
After competing in the Olympics and building a life in the USA, Julius returned home to Uganda. His community were suffering in famine, and Julius and Eloise vowed to help.

Love Mercy Foundation acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. Our Australian office is on the lands of the Gweagal People of the Tharawal Nation. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. Our team follows in their ancient footsteps as we seek the flourishing of land and community for the people of Northern Uganda.
