Love Mercy began in 2010, when Australian Olympian Eloise Wellings met Ugandan Olympian and former child soldier, Julius Achon.

After competing in the Olympics and building a life in America, Julius returned home to Uganda. His community were suffering in famine, and Julius & Eloise vowed to help.

Our projects increase access to food security, health care, clean water and income generation for thousands of families after decades of civil war.

Interested in giving a gift that will change the lives of an entire household for generations to come? Empower a woman with a seed loan to start her journey in our Cents for Seeds program.
