Rebecca stepped into the position of CEO in May 2021, taking over from our founding CEO Caitlin Barrett.

Prior to this, Bec worked as our Fundraising and Digital Marketing Manager for 3.5 years, and brings
4 years of sales experience to the team. She joined the team after travelling to Uganda on one of our volunteer impact trips in 2017. Once she saw the impact of Cents for Seeds and the Kristina Health Centre first-hand Bec was hooked, and felt immediately at home. She has elevated Love Mercy's mission through targeted fundraising & digital campaigns, always looking for new things to try and ways to improve. She holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) from UTS and is currently undertaking a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) majoring in Social Enterprise & Non-profit management.

Bec is passionate about empowerment, leadership and sustainable business. Her relentless energy, humour and passion for all things travel, sport and coffee related, keeps everyone on their toes.
