The Kristina Health Centre Ambulance was used 22 times in the month of June for obstetric, medical and surgical emergencies to a nearby level 4 clinic and the regional referral hospital. Access to the ambulance elevates the level of care the staff at KHC can offer. Without it, the rural community of Otuke would need to find their own way to the hospital, 72kms away.

Meet Daniel, the Clinical Officer at Kristina Health Centre. Daniel joined our team in January 2020, and since then has helped to take taken the clinic from strength to strength. One of the challenges remote clinics face all over the world, is getting passionate and skilled staff to join the team that feels far away from city or big town life. KHC is no different, and we are so grateful for Daniel's passion to see the local community accessing basic & essential health care.
