5 km a day in May

WHY

Every day in Uganda 16 women die per day as a result of complications related to pregnancy and childbirth. 

The Kristina Health Centre operates in northern Uganda in Otuke. Since 2017, over 700 babies have been safely delivered into their mother’s arms by the passionate and skilled midwives at KHC.

These funds will provide safe birthing kits for mumma’s in Uganda so that they can safely deliver their babies into this world.

Virtual 5km a day in May

However, you do get to pick your interval. It could be 5km a day, it could be 5km a week. You can swim or walk too. It all counts and all impacts mothers in northern Uganda.
