78kms was the distance Love Mercy founder Julius Achon had to run as a child to reach the competition that would then take him to the Olympics. This wasn’t the first challenge Julius would face, having previously been kidnapped to become a child soldier, however it was this 78km challenge that took him on to meet Australian Olympian Eloise Wellings, and here the Love Mercy story begins.
What’s your 78 challenge?
Over the weekend of 14-15th November we encourage you to take it on and raise funds for Love Mercy projects including Cents for Seeds, the Kristina Health Clinic, and Well Worth It.
Whether you’re running, cooking, doing community service, creating something special for someone or simply complimenting strangers, challenge yourself to a new level! Take it on solo or with a team and support thousands in rural northern Uganda in the process.
